Santa Visit

The snow caused an unexpected cancellation of a trip I was supposed to take to Columbia, MO today for All State Band Auditions.

Once I stopped crying because I didn't get to go anymore, we decided to visit Santa. We went to the annual Brunch with Santa event hosted my school district.

The boys had fun. Although Aaron didn't technically smile, I'm pretty sure he did have fun.

Snow Days

We're on the second of two snow days here and everyone is having a grand time! We're not feeling cabin fever at all!

Actually, the way Aaron is trying to escape from Evan's grasp is the way we'd all like to escape the house. What good is a day off if you can't go do...well, stuff. Anything really?

I'm not complaining, because we've had some unexpected family time, and that's always a good thing.

Jamie left the house today for some reason. She mumbled something about "having to take care of three boys now instead of two." Clearly she's confused. What could she possibly mean by that?
