Time for Shopping

Black Friday has come and gone, but Christmas shopping has only just begun. Well, not so much for me; Jamie handles most of that, but I cheer her on from the sideline, offering support and suggestions as needed.

Support and suggestions such as, "What are you buying today?" and "How much is all of this costing us?" 'Tis the season.

It's not Christmas shopping time if there isn't a commercial on TV about a Lexus with a red bow. Good commercials, aren't they? Please remind me not to kick someone in the teeth if they tell me they bought a Lexus as a Christmas gift. All they'll want for Christmas is their two front teeth.

Belive it or not, I am looking forward to Christmas, but perhaps I need to work on my attitude.

Happy Thanksgiving

Here's a mediocre picture of the Christmas lights we put up yesterday.

Have a good Thanksgiving!

Christmas Lights

Today's the day to put up the Christmas lights. I'm going to purchase some more red C7 lights. I know the C9 bulbs are a little more manly, but I'm sticking with the sleek C7s because that's just the way I roll.

Before pic included for you to imagine what the finished product might look like.

Thanksgiving Break

I've been anxiously awaiting Thanksgiving break this year, more so than in years past.

Our football team made it to the state semi-final game so we've been busier than usual this marching season.  I haven't even had a moment to consider the chore of putting up Christmas lights.

That's the plan for tomorrow, although Jamie should probably just leave me alone with the boys and take a break of her own.

Who's responsible for this website?

Who's supposed to be updating this website? Is it me? I think it is, and I think I've been out of touch for a while, so I'm going to get back on the horse and forget the last few months ever happened. No hard feelings, please.

The best way to get rid of your hard feelings is to post a couple pictures of the cute kids. Enjoy.
